2006 Changes
1. CPR - New rates and ratios. See new
materials2. CPR Testing - Written test is not performed
for HeartSaver CPR anymore. For skill testing we use skill sign off sheets.
Healthcare Provider still requires written and practical
tests.
3. There is no written test for first aid.
Questions are in the book. Students must have book
at course.
4. All NIEC, AHA BCLS, HeartSaver, HeartSaver
AED, HeartSaver First Aid students must have the new AHA
book or no card will be issued.
5. New ACLS materials are available (as of August 31,
2006). The new test and textbooks are also
available.
6. As of July 1, 2006 all instructors must be
updated or no card can be issued.
7. The new written test for Healthcare Provider
BCLS is now available. Please call the office to
obtain a copy. |
